3. Booking and Reservations

3.1 Booking Process

For a successful charter booking, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Provide true and complete details
  • Remit the necessary deposit outlined in your booking confirmation
  • Consent to these Terms & Conditions

3.2 Confirmation

A charter is regarded as confirmed only after payment has been made and we have issued a written confirmation. Service can be refused to anyone at our discretion.

3.3 Availability

The availability of charters is contingent on boat availability and favorable weather conditions. We will strive to accommodate your preferred times and dates.

4. Payment Terms

4.1 Pricing

All prices are cited in € and incorporate any applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Price changes may be brought in without prior notification.

4.2 Payment Schedule

  • Deposit: 50% of the total cost of the charter is due upon booking
  • Balance: To be paid 48 hours before the scheduled departure of the charter
  • Additional charges (if applicable): To be settled after the charter concludes

4.3 Payment Methods

We accept major credit cards, bank transfers, and validated cheques. Payments are processed securely with encryption.

5. Cancellation and Refund Policy

5.1 Customer Cancellations

  • More than 72 hours before departure: Full refund minus processing fees
  • 24-72 hours before departure: 50% refund
  • Less than 24 hours before departure: No refund

5.2 Weather Cancellations

If the weather is deemed unsafe by our captain, options will be provided:

  • Reschedule your charter to another available date without additional costs
  • Offer a full refund should rescheduling be unfeasible

5.3 Mechanical Issues

If there are mechanical issues with the assigned vessel, we will try to find a comparable replacement. If no substitute is accessible, a full refund will be given.

6. Safety and Conduct

6.1 Safety Requirements

All guests are required to:

  • Obey instructions from the crew
  • Utilize safety equipment as instructed
  • Inform of any medical issues that might impact their safety
  • Stay within assigned areas on the vessel

6.2 Prohibited Items

Certain items are not permitted aboard:

  • Glass containers
  • Illegal substances
  • Firearms or other weapons
  • Pets (except with prior approval)

6.3 Conduct

Passengers must behave respectfully. Charters may be ended prematurely without refund if a passenger's conduct endangers safety or diminishes the enjoyment of other patrons.

We limit our responsibility to the payment made for your charter. We are not accountable for:

  • Personal harm suffered due to passenger carelessness
  • Personal property damage or loss
  • Indirect or punitive damages or those that are consequential
  • Delays due to weather or situations beyond our control

Our vessels and operations are insured with comprehensive marine insurance. Guests should have their own travel and personal insurance.

7.3 Assumption of Risk

Engaging in our charter services means you comprehend the inherent dangers of marine activities and accept responsibility for your own safety.

8. Modifications and Itinerary Changes

Should there be a need based on weather, safety, or operational considerations, we can alter itineraries, routes, or schedules. We will ensure alternative experiences of comparable quality are provided whenever possible.

9. Force Majeure

We are not responsible for delay, cancellation, or modifications arising out of events beyond our control, such as:

  • Extreme weather conditions

  • Regulatory edicts

  • Mechanical failures
